Very fun sailing simulation. it has a realistic feel to it in how you control the rudder and trim the sails. When im playing i feel as though im actually sailing. I totally recommend this app

this game is not very good, not very good graphics. hard to understand where to sail to.

Being a sailor, I appreciate being able to deal with the wind and current influences along with the variety of boats to race. A great way to stay mentally connected to sailing when not on the water.

It was very bad and a wast of my money. When i got it it would not open and it wont work this app is a joke dont get it!

I have had several races where I have recieved a penalty in obvious cases where the other boat was at fault (port/starboard, windward/leeward, clear ahead, etc.) It takes the fun out of the game when the basic sailing rules dont apply.

Sadly though, some rule applications are a but buggy. Also has a lack if boat types, I suggest dinghies such as a 470 or a laser. Also ac72s would be a great addition. Overall a fantastic tactical game for any sailor or beginner looking for some more practice.

Like I just wrote, its a very VERY Good sailing sim that is very realistic.

Add more boats.

This App is a very cool tool for those who are learning how to sail and for those who sail. Allows you to fine tune and keep up your sailing skills.

Nice game, not enough realism

This is the best "realistic" sailing app for Ipad with a few annoying quirks. The large ship passing through the course is a bit over the top, the pop up help during every start can not be turned off, and the biggest glitch IMHO is, the boat does not accelerate downwind if you do not fly a spinnaker, which is annoying during pre-starts. Good overall.

Not only the best sailing game. It is by far the best game overall. Well worth the price.

I have sailed a few times and this is very close to the real thing, especially the actual racing! Look out or you will get tagged for a penalty but race cleanly and you can test your skills. Great app!

This yacht racing simulator is intensely fun, entertaining, and slightly addictive! I do not own a sailboat…(yet!) but I have raced several summers on 30-45 ft boats in the Great Lakes. For me, this feels like the real thing; only its warmer, dryer, and there are no spiders unlike every boat Ive ever been on!! While playing on the iPad mini, I find myself hiking, leaning, etc. because Im so in to the race! It is well worth the price, there are many features, courses, conditions, levels, etc. And probably the best thing is, I am learning how to handle the wind on larger boats, and with multiple sails. This will help me when sailing with others this Summer…and certainly when I finally do get my own yacht!

This game is very fun and realistic. The addition of the extreme 40 was great. Could you please add some skiffs and other cats? I currently sail a 29er and on occasion a 49er and it would be great to be able to sail those in the game!

Great game for anyone with some experience sailing who wants to learn more.

The app crashes immediately on my iPad.

This is a great sailing simulator, but the other boats are far too likely to run into you and each other, ruining a great race at the last minute. Even in the beginner mode the other boats should still know and obey right of way rules. And why are there oil tankers passing through the race course? Aside from being unrealistic they are just plain annoying. Ive never watched a major regatta interrupted by oil tankers. Some additional sail controls would be a great addition, too.

Im a regatta fan. I tried top sailor-meh. But this one is amazing. The strategy is great, its loads of fun, the boat selection is wonderful l. I do not have many complaints about this app. How ever these are the ones I could muster up. The tanker entering the course is a bit weird. And there is no strategy tutorial. But thats really it. I love this game. Ps can you guys get a volvo ocean 65 in the game please. If you do that will make my day!

I have yet to find a great sailing app until today. I was going to design one but this one is great. Please allow us to change the wind and seas. Lose the oil rig and throw in a storm or two. Multiplayer is non existent with so little players. Not enough of us I guess. Ill keep trying till I find someone.
